gaugeART CAN Gauge: using Analogs with Hondata KPRO 4

Enable Telemetry:

Enable ECU telemetry in Hondata KManager software by clicking Digital Output and selecting “Hondata Protocol (250kbps)”. Save and upload calibration to ECU. Power cycle ECU.

Configure Analog Outputs:

The Hondata KPRO 4 includes 8 optional analog inputs. These analogs can be used for a wideband oxygen sensor, fuel pressure, oil pressure, and oil temperature sensors for example. Due to the unique telemetry configuration of Hondata KPRO 4, to be used with the gaugeART CAN Gauge, you must wire your sensor in to the specific analog channels listed below.

  • Analog 0: Wideband
  • Analog 1: Oil Temperature
  • Analog 2: Spare Temp 1
  • Analog 3: Spare Temp 2
  • Analog 4: Oil Pressure (0-100 PSI or 0-150 PSI sensor)
  • Analog 5: Fuel Pressure (0-100 PSI or 0-150 PSI sensor)
  • Analog 6: Spare Pressure 1 (0-100 PSI or 0-150 PSI sensor)
  • Analog 7: Spare Volts (will display 0-5 volts from any 0-5 volt sensor)

wideband:
The Hondata KPRO and gaugeART CAN Gauge supports AEM 30-2310 / AEM 30-0310, Innovate LC-2, PLX SM-AFR, and Zeitronix sensors. If you are using the wideband sensor for fuel trim, make sure to set “closed loop” to the correct channel you are using.

oil temperature:
Delphi part no. 12160855 (same as AEM 30-2012) or Bosch 0280130026 (same as Bosch 0280130039) may be used.

spare temperatures:
2 spare temperature inputs are available. Delphi part no. 12160855 (same as AEM 30-2012) or Bosch 0280130026 (same as 0280130039) may be used.

fuel pressure:
Any 0-100 PSI or 0-150 PSI pressure sensor may be used for fuel pressure. AEM 30-2130-100 recommended.

oil pressure:
Any 0-100 PSI or 0-150 PSI pressure sensor may be used for oil pressure. AEM 30-2130-150 recommended.

spare pressure:
1 spare pressure input is available. Any 0-100 PSI or 0-150 PSI pressure sensor may be used. AEM 30-2130-100 or 30-2130-150 recommended.
